The film is all about survival, showcasing the “Diskarteng Pinoy”, the resilience of the Pilipino in the midst of trials.
Yolanda named of the Super typhoon also the name of the leading character of the story. Yolanda known as “Bonak” (Ignoramus) from two words Bobo + Anak, is very cheerful and friendly. Kindhearted not only to her family but also to those in needs… and sometimes abused!
November 8, 2013, Super Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan, Category 5 landed in their town… it’s totally devastated that caused deaths and many families, disunited.
How Yolanda survived after the tragic? Who among her family member transcended the tremendous disaster?
